Summer's greetings to everybody!

I just finished the latest draft of Tutorial 18 and uploaded it to the tutorial Web site:

I focus on creating a horizontal line (hline) engraving effect with the Pattern function.  I also include how to create a vignette.  I hope people find the subject fun to work/play with.  It is all new territory for me and I enjoyed putting this tutorial together.  And now, I am burnt out.  You might be familiar with the syndrome.  I'll be visiting the forum from time to time, lending a helping hand or just being a pest.  I just need to re-coagulate my poor cortex, which might be a challenge considering that the Portland, Oregon, area will be hit by a scorching heatwave over these next few days.
