Hi. Perhaps this is too simple.

The idea is to overlap shapes which have strokes and no fills. The goal is to move them around and "see" or "discover" something new or useful for your project.

Look at how they overlap. Think of the common path operations and look for something unique or interesting to your eyes. What can be made with them?

The shapes can be anything and they can be duplicated or rotated, resized, skewed, and so on.

The graphics below show some simple examples.

Your creations or "discoveries" can be as complex or simple as you like.

I have also attached an svg file made in Inkscape which has several french curves. I hope they can trigger your imagination also.

Tbe zipped file is the same as the Inkscape svg. I include it as some folks have a time recognizing just the svg files I share. Feel free to adjust or edit the svg material as you wish. (Not sell them, just use them.)

Happy creating and do make beautiful and useful stuff.
