Hello. Here are some updated graphics as of June 7, 2022, showing possible usages of this Paste Length Extension. This extension still works on Windows 10, with Inkscape Version 0.92.4 and version 1.12. But not with version 1.20, that I have found.
One can maintain multiple versions of Inkscape on their machine(s), and "bounce" between versions, as needed, copying and pasting files.

Hi. I have used this extension for a few years and it works great and can be useful in many situations.
(It makes destination paths match the Length (perimeter) of the source path.)
Note: the "source" and destination" paths can be straight lines, curves, closed shapes, and/or text (converted to a path).
I wish the Inkscape Developers would make it a standard part of the future Inkscape packages
