Hi. I have long been a fan of the Bezier Envelope Extension. Especially to conform text to an envelope shape. Like all extensions, it has its limits. But I find it very useful.

The discussion about using this extension has been seen in different posts and "methods".

    Such as

    https://inkscape.org/forums/tutorials/tip-use-bezier-envelope-extrnsion/

Here I want to share a method that works for me, in Inkscape versions 0.92.4, 1.12 and 1.20.

The same steps are used for each Inkscape version.

    See the graphics below.

I have also included zip files for the needed inx  and py files for versions 0.92.4, for 1.12 and for 1.20.

(I have not modified those key files in any way.)

You would have to un-zip the files for your Inkscape version.

    Note - I am using Windows 10.

I trust these steps will be useful to you, with your operating system.

Explore this extension. I helieve you will enjoy it.

Happy creating and God bless you.

One more thought. When using a very "curve intense" envelope, you probably will need to create a series of "mini envelopes" first ... before using this extension.

    See the graphic below.
