Hey everyone.I'm a complete newbie to this, or any other drawing programs for that matter.I made this file in Inkscape for CNC laser use, but when I save it as DXF and open in Autocad, the curves appear very segmented.Is there a way around this?
Export using Autocad DXF R14 format - not R12 - that might help a little. I use Fusion 360 and gave up on DXF files. Seem to get better results with SVG.
Not an Inkscape issue. DXF format will break up complex Inkscape paths to segments. I too didn't like that idea. Can Autocad import SVG?Tips
