Is there an extension or way to union things musch easier and faster than selecting each and every object? Example - if i type out a cursive word that is really 6 invidual letters, I need to union all of these to cut out as one sign on my CNC table. Software wise, For example, In Sihloutte studio you can just select All, and hit Weld. That will make it one unifed object. So far inkscape I have to select each letter one by one then union.
You can try a combine vs union. For text, (always keep a copy of the orig text on a hidden layer BTW, in case you ever want to change it, it's there), anyway, for text, convert to a path - that makes each letter/character a group, so you just need to choose all of the letters and combine them (or group them). Guess it depends on your cutting pgm as to which would work for cutting.

Welcome to the forum!
You can hit Select All and then Union, with Inkscape. Edit menu > Select All, or else Ctrl + a is the key shortcut.
Or you could type them as one word. Why do you type them as separate letters? Are they using different fonts?
