I'm currently trying to replicate the effect/distortion that can be seen in two fonts I'm using at the moment. I want to apply it to a simple square outline/stroke so the two will match in style. At the moment I struggle to come even close using the filters. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

I'm currently trying to replicate the effect/distortion that can be seen in two fonts I'm using at the moment. I want to apply it to a simple square outline/stroke so the two will match in style.

I would experiment with the Path Effect>Roughen.
