Need some help with several issues I am running into. Yesterday Inkscape simply stopped working for me in the middle of a project, I started getting a "Not Responding" error. The program eventually timed out and I closed it and then reopened it. After reopening, the program would respond as long as I was doing something simple like drawing a line or curve. If I tried to turned on Grids or Guides I get the "Not Responding" error. I went tot he website and realized there was a newer version out so I uninstalled the older version I was running and installed the new current version. After installing I am running into the same issues, certain functions work but others won't and just kick me to that same error. I uninstalled the new version and went back and re-installed the older version I was using and that is still do the same thing.
I am running Widows 10 and have not really ever had any issues until yesterday. Any thoughts on what I might try to do next?

I'd try clicking the reset preferences button in Preferences>System
