In October 2021 i removed the background in my imported images by going to the menu bar, selecting something that adjusts the color, and removed the background and left the image a full color image.
I've forgotten exactly what i did, I can't find the directions/video i used to change my image. I didn't use nodes or any of those bezier tools to remove them.
I am very new to inkscape. Does the process i described sound familiar? I need help.
Can someone guide me in the right direction please
if you go do File >> Document Properties (or press shift-ctrl-D),you're able to set the desk background color (in the Display tab).. In newer versions you can even distinguish between "the desk" and "the paper"

Hi.
Unfortunately this workflow sounds familiar in GIMP or other bitmap editors - not so much in Inkscape.
Removing Background though is part of the Path->Trace Bitmap… functionality under "Multiple Scans" - so probably you came across in this regard.
