Beginners' Questions Thickness of lines change when change the size of path

    If I create a path and then I change for example its height the thickness of the lines in the path changes and  I want to keep it constant. The "when scaling objects, scale the stroke width by the same proportion" button is unchecked and nothing changes if I press it.

    I'd try changing a setting in the Preferences panel Behavior>Transforms>Store Transforms: Select "Optimized". 

    This issue also occurs when groups are scaled, regardless of settings.

    I'm using Inkscape 0.92.2 (5c3e80d, 2017-08-06) , Win 8.1
