As you can see in the uploaded picture, when I type some text, it appears to have outline. I just want normal text like the one (the lower half).
I googled for a long time (almost 2 hours) and I found no solution for that...
How can I do that? Thanks!

There is a stroke but no fill assigned to the text.
Please explore the Tutorials in Inkscape's help menu... the first tutorial includes info on Fill and Stroke.
