So just finished my major upgrade (hardware and OS). Downloaded and installed Inkscape. I know I need to go through the tutorials but the first question that comes to mind is...does Inkscape support 'templates'?
I wouldnl't be surprised if there is something new about templates, either in the 0.92.x series or with the upcoming version 1.0. If someone else doesn't post about it, you could check the 0.92 release notes, or draft of the 1.0 Release Notes http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/Release_notes/1.0
However, small problem--that link opens a page that Firefox thinks is a potential security threat. The message (in the advance area) is :Websites prove their identity via certificates, which are valid for a set time period. The certificate for libregraphicsworld.org expired on 9/23/2013.
That said, there is at least one Youtube video on the net that deals with templates...although I had hoped for something a little more comprehensive. All it deals with is setting up a basic template.

Absolutely! Here's a tutorial. It's a bit dated, but the info is still correct, as far as I know. http://libregraphicsworld.org/blog/entry/using-templates-in-inkscape

Thank you.

Sorry, I just typed the link wrong. I fixed it now, and you won't get any errors. (I don't think they ever had a certificate. I just typed it wrong.)
