I am so very stumped with a problem I have with a SVG file. I have a round swirly patterned object that I clipped to a half circle to look like it was cut up. The two halves show on screen, export to PNG as expected, but the SVG itself doesn't show the objects in my Mac finder thumbnail or the website when I upload it. I think it must have something to do with the clipping, though I'm beginner enough that I've become completely stumped to figure out what the problem is. Can anyone please tell me what I need to do to my objects to make them render in the svg file when viewed in programs other than Inkscape itself??
You may consider to do a Path->Intersection with your Objects instead of clipping. Why your macOS donΒ΄t update the preview escapes me - works here as expected (Inkscape1.1.2/macOS-BigSur).
