I have traced an image for a "fire patch" and grouped all the traced lines. How do I "SPLIT" this grouped image horizontally so I can separate the two half's (without loosing any of the patch). I want to be able to place "text" between the two half's. I can split shapes without any issues, just not able to split this image below. Thanks for your time & help.......Be Safe!

Can you be more specific? There is a double border, text within banner/ribbons and an emblem... which do you want to divide?

Ok, whatever... the fast and dirty way is to duplicate the object, and clip each side.
