Hello all. I am currently trying out the "Dashes" styles in the Stroke style tab in the Fill and Stroke dialog.
I have a pretty simple straight line for a path. And a Stroke width of 2.0 set...
Although I'm going through the different options in the "Dashes" drop down.... and a lot of them are working fine, but also many of them seem to have no affect. Is this something that others are finding too?
Or maybe is there something that I don't understand or am missing about applying some of these dash styles?
Hmmmm... I know what I was doing wrong and didn't understand. Some of the dash styles didn't appear to be taking affect, because of the Cap setting I was using. If anyone has a similar problem, check that you cap setting is not causing the ends of your dashes to overlap. Thanks for reading. 8)
