Hi
I'm importing a pdf. The font doesn't have an italic, no problem Inkscape imports a slanted text. Nice!
When I try editing this directly, I get mush.
No big deal I'm used to it. I usually copy/paste the text and edit it from here. But with a slanted text block, I just can't keep it left-aligned
Β
If I use the double arrows on the object to realign the text, I lose the italic effect. If I don't, the text is all askew.
Is there a way to slant the letters while keeping the left alignment?
I feel a bit lost on this. When itΒ΄s recognised as text I can tell "Italic" even when the font is not installed with Inkscape1.3alpha. Otherwise find an alternative font which includes "Italic" derivate.
Another useful tool for imported text is Text>Remove manual kerns.
Nevermind, I've found an italic variant of the font
