Setting X and Y coordinates for objects from center instead of left-top - Beginners' Questions

Hi,
how do i change the X and Y coordinates in the menu for an object to display those coordinates from the center of the object, instead of from the top-left, as is the default?

The origin will always be at the top left or bottom left of the Page, depending on the Preferences setting.
Objects will always have their anchor point at the upper left or lower left depending on the setting above.

ah, why is there not a possibility to relate the coordinates to the center of the object? Could i file a feature request for this somewhere?
