Beginners' Questions Set the current/active layer without expanding its node

    Hi, I just moved to Inkscape 1.3. I want  to select the current/active layer. I press on its name and a list of hundreds of cryptic names like g462378 expands below. How to select the current layer only? Thanks!

    Via Object->Layers and Objects perhaps?
