Beginners' Questions Second trace of path needed

    I traced an image using bezier, and now i need a duplicate line just inside all paths, leaving 2mm gap, for 3D printing it.
    How can I accomplish this (easily??)

    Select your path then duplicate [ctrl+d] followed by [Path > Path Effects...] [Offset]. Set a negative value for the offset distance.
