Hi guys, I'm an italian old boy and I use Inkscape for engrave and cutter with chinese laser machine K40.
It's possible scale an object from his center, setting the new measure with keyboard?Β For example: I have a circle with X and Y 25mm, I wantΒ scale it from 25 to 23,62 leaving the same center; to do this I cant use the mouse but I must use the keyboard, locking the X&Y, but if I set the new measure Inkscape scale the object not from his center but from down/left of the circle. I hope you understand my bad english. Thanks and ciao

You can use the Transforms dialog: Menu>Object>Transform.
