I have tried the Fillet/Chamfer tool but for some reason instead of filleting the corners it creates a gap the size of the radius I chose between each line.
You file has some issues that prevents the fillet/chamfer tool from working properly:
1. all lines marked in the screenshot are closed shapes and not lines
2. therefor all parts are separate and not connected and no fillets can be assigned.
I´d delete the "shapes" by going Path->Break apart - select and delete - select remaining 5 straight lines and go Path combine - take the Node-tool (N) select 2 corner nodes and go "Join selected end nodes with new segment:
Tried without success so I just took the line tool and traced all around the outer edge snapping to each corner to make a single like shape and it worked! Thank you!
That's of course faster - but just wanted to let you know why it doesn't work in first place. Not sure how you manage to draw this closed shapes in your design though. 😉
