Im trying to remove a transparent background from a clipart image but cannot find the tool to do it. Can someone direct me to the tool?

Use the Pen tool [b] to draw an approximate outline around the interesting content in the imported image. Select the outline and the image, then [Object > Clip > Set Clip]. Everything outside the clip boundary will be hidden.

I don‘t get it: Why removing what‘s already transparent?

When I imported a bitmap with a transparent background, the checkerboard came with it and I couldn't make it go away.

We have seen other users with images that are supposed to have transparency, but they don't. Some online sellers don't upload the correct versions.
