The issue seems to be that the distance between some points is smaller than the radius I'm applying, this causes weird sharp transitions. Does anyone have a solution?
The radius can't be decreased and it's important that the "thickness" of the lines stays consistent.
Inkscape 1.3.2 - Windows 10
Workflow - spray tool - Extensions generate from path Voroni diagram - Stroke to path - union - path effects corners.
My opinion is that where there are sharp transitions, there are two nodes too close one from another. I'd try to remove one or when not possible, move a bit them (some kind of eyeballing..., the idea is to preserve the thickness of the 'lines' (shapes, actually).

Thanks David. I was hoping for a less manual solution, but I think you're right I'll just need to fix them one by one.
Using "object to path" after the path effect "baked" it in and is making modifying the corners easier.
