My version of paint or paint 3d on Windows 10 does not have an option to import .emf or .wmf
It's a Bitmap / Raster editor rather than a Vector editor although it does have some vector shape tools, which convert to bitmap once you have dropped them on the page.
If you don't know the difference between bitmap and vector have a look at this nice page which goes over the basics.
Inkscape can happily export to .png which paint will open. File>Export to PNG image.
Hello everyone,
I am trying to export my svg files into emf and I am having some troubles, so was hoping someone could help.
I do not quite understand why, but when I change the page size and export it as an emf (even a blank page), I get the following error:
"Paint cannot read this file. This is not a valid bitmap file, or its format is not currently supported".
This makes me think the file is corrupt somehow, but also do not manage to understand why. I am currently using Inkscape 1.0.1
Thanks a lot!
Are you referring to Microsoft paint ?
