    OK really stupid question.  How do you set a print area for printing or how can you print preview.  I printed but had to move all the objects to the page that it opens with but I didn't do the drawings on that.

    The Page area is what will print and export (generally).

    The page can be resized to the selected artwork using the Document Properties dialog or Ctrl+Shift+R.
