Hi Inkadinkllc, thank you for your message. And welcome to the forum!
Could you please let us know a couple of things first?
Operating system name?
Operating system version?
Version of the Inkscape app you are using?
One last thing is, could you also kindly let us know all of the steps (in details) of what you have done and what you have achieved and what you wanted to achieve?
Sometime also posting your SVG file to your forum thread would be extremely helpful. Thanks!
Also having problem printing. At first I was trying to print to a Lexmark Laser and got nothing(no errors and no warnings). Then I tried to print to an old HP Inkjet and only got a small slice of the image in the wrong(unexpected) orientation. Flipped the image and moved it quite a bit and then finally got a full image. There is a shadowed rectangle that appears on a new Inkscape form. It measures about 8.25 in wide and 11.7 in tall with lower left corner at the 0,0 point according to the rulers at left and top. Is this supposed to represent the print area? I found that to get a known image of 7.8 in wide by 7.1 in tall to almost fit on the center of the page I had to locate the lower right corner at -500,0 partly below the shadowed rectangle. I guess I don't understand how Inkscape determines the print area.
Printing 13x19 design, image stops halfway in preview. Saved as pdf, didnt help. Changed format to 12.95x18.95, didn't help. Suggestions?

What exactly is 'didn't help' for the pdf? Is the pdf file incomplete?
If so, can you please share a screenshot of your pdf export settings, and the SVG file or at least a screenshot of it that shows the whole page?
