I have a template that I'm editing in Inkscape.ย  ย  It needs to be output at a specific size when printed.ย  On the screen I confirm that it is sized correctly but when I print it (I have tried 2 different printers) it does not print the correct size.

I verified with my document properties that I'm printing to the right size page (8.5x11) and there are 0 margins all the way around.ย  ย Any thoughts on why this is happening?

    It would help to know:

    • What OS?
    • What version of Inkscape?
    • If you make a document with a 150mm x 150mmย  (or 6"x6") square, how big is the printed square?
    • Can you post an example file in a zip or link to one?

Thanks for your response.ย  Sorry for the lack of detal.

    Windows 10ย
Brand new install of Inkscape 1.0ย

I can post an example, but I'm not sure it would help (I have a PDF, SVG and JPG).ย  But to produce the problem here is what I did.

    Create a new document, specifying 8.5 x 11 paper.ย  ย I drew a rectangle (7.5" Wide x 9.5" tall).ย  ย The measured size when printed is 7 1/8" wide x 9 1/16 tall.

    ย

    Does that help?
