Hi Polygon, I tried the "Help" but under "Help" I'm given a load of options such as Inkscape Manual, Ask Us a Question, Tutorials, FAQ and so on, not just a search window and I tried them all so my last resort was to ask the experts. Just like in all things to do with computers there is more than one way to do everything. Many thanks for your help.

I have used Inkscape to draw a plan for my garden and I have drawn it to scale using the grid. How can I produce the grid on my printouts?

And keep in mind these grids use px as units.
