Does anybody know why the printed margins is different with the page setup? I set it 1cm margin on each side of the page, but when print it out it appear to be 1.4cm on the left, and 1.8cm on the right.
I set up the margin using Guides with adding 1cm of space on each sides.
Can you check the document properties of your initial page setup first? By default, Inkscape will use an A4 size of paper. If your printer is using a different size of paper, then you will need to change that to match.
For instance, if your printer is using 8.5" by 11" paper (US Letter), and you have designed with and are sending it an A4 sized document (which is ~8.26" by ~11.69"), then your guides will be "off a bit" when you measure the margins on the paper that you've printed.

Additionally, check your printer margin settings. Does your printer support borderless printing? Or does it 'scale to fit'?
