When I originally installed Inkscape I printed .png files that were imported with transparent backgrounds and they came out with a transparent background. All of a sudden a few weeks into using the program it began to print any imported .png image with white where it is transparent. I cannot turn off the White feature on my white toner printer because some of my images have white in them. I'm not sure if I switched something off or on or if the way i'm importing the file into Inkscape that is causing this. I've placed colored boxes behind the image yet it still prints the transparent parts white. Ive also changed in the document properties the background to checkerboard and it shows the imported image's background as transparent as transparent then prints the object's background as white and not the rest of the page. Can someone help me to correct this?
This is the file, Again i'm printing on an oki c711wt that has white toner. I don't want to cut off the white because most of the images that I print have white in them. I'm just trying to figure out how to stop inkscape from printing out a white background that isn't there on the png file.

I'd try saving a copy as pdf, print the pdf and see if the issue persists.
Feel free to share an example svg file for us to look at.

Hi RedboiΒ
Did you manage to sort out this problem as I'm getting the same result and just can't figure it out.
