Beginners' Questions Pixellated PNG image after exporting

Hi, I am experiencing a problem after exporting the PNG image, it pixellates and blurs when zooming in. I import a raster image in Inkscape, then I edit the image and draw lines and write texts on the image, everything works fine and there are no blurs. The problem happens after I export the image, I even tried 600 dpi, and the PNG image still pixellated and blurry when zooming in. I'd be grateful if someone can help to fix this issue.

Please share the svg file, so we can examine.

    Kindly find the attached file.
The red-blue image was a PDF that was imported into the inkscape. The sketch below the image is the work done on Inkscape. After I export the figures I am supposed to import the figure into Word file and after I finish the report the Word file will be saved as PDF. The main problem now that the exported figures look very blurry and pixellated when zooming in, especially in the final PDF.

To achieve a sharp image in the in the final document, vector elements should be retained. This will require modifying the image and saving a copy as emf.

The color areas of the lower diagram have reduced opacity and will cause the exported emf to be pixellated.
The opacity of the objects can be set to 100% and the "lightness" can be set using the fill/stroke dialog (HSL controls).

The Dropper can also be used to get an exact match, but the document background should be set to white.
(The new light red object will need to be moved behind the texture lines and border using the z-order tools. http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/Z-Order.html)
Remember to save a copy as emf, to retain the SVG as a master document for editing.

The emf can be inserted to MS-Word retaining the vector objects and the resulting pdf should also retain the vector objects for sharp text and lines.

    Hi Tyler,
Many thanks for your assistance. I saved an emf copy and the vector elements are very sharp. There are 2 remaining issues, the emf file is really huge, is there something that can be done to reduce the size? The second issue is when I convert from MS Word to PDF, the vector elements remain very sharp, while the other image (The image that imported into Inkscape in the very beginning) is severely pixellated. Is there any recommendation to solve these issues?

If you are willing to have the images compiled into one image @ 300dpi, the file size becomes more manageable.

It is unclear to me why it gets pixellated, maybe a setting in Word>PDF.

I am really sorry to bother you again. I did create a new project and after I finished my work, the exported .emf file is around 195Mb. I kept trying the last 2 days to figure out the problem and reduce the size but I failed. The .svg file is quite big (50Mb) so I uploaded it on dropbox, along with the exported .emf file. Is there any recommendation to reduce the size of the .emf?
