Hey guys,
so my issue is that I have created a Logo in inkscape.
But when I export it , it will always have those pixelated edges. Like the png attached.
So I tried the following:
So far, even if I increase the export resolution of the png, I cannot see any difference.
Do you have any advise for me to export my Logo without pixelated edges?
Thank you:)
Did you post that image from a screenshot, for example using the windows snipping tool, whilst it was open in an image viewer ?
I noticed that the default windows 10 application 'Photos' does show a lot of pixelation when zoomed out.
I have attached two images, both created using the windows snipping tool. The orginal png was exported from Inkscape at 1500dpi.
The are at a similar zoom level. The windows photos viewer is pixelated, the png in the web browser ( brave - based on chromium ) is smooth.
hello inklinea,
thank you for your fast reply.
I think this photo was directly exported from inkscape. So you mean that windows photo viewer displays the logo pixelated, even if its in high resolution?
That would explain my misery.
I use Linux and Windows 10, on both I use a free viewer (for personal use) called XnViewMP
https://www.xnview.com/en/xnviewmp/#downloads
I find it to be excellent with batch conversion, exif stripping , cropping etc.
There are other options such as Irfanview https://www.irfanview.com/ for windows, which I used to use.
