I have a bit of an issue and I cannot figure out where I am going wrong. I've recently installed Inkscape and have been following some tutorials and experimenting a bit with the different tools.
I have created a text logo and filled it with a customer texture (the texture is an imported one, that has been converted to bit map, then converted to a Pattern).
My question is, I have made the logo and applied a small stroke to it, along with the fill. When I move this over the layer with my background colour, the fill disappears. The fill appears of I lower the opacity of the background layer, but I don't want the opacity of the background to be lowered.
The pattern fill moves with the object but what you didn´t noticed is the "white spots" are actually transparent areas - so they don´t work on a black background. Convert the pattern PNG to JPG or deleting the alpha channel in a raster image editor would help.
Hello everyone!

Any suggestions?
There‘s a button in top row saying: „Move Pattern fill with object“ - or alike that needs to be enabled. Have you checked this already?
I will try this when home and let you know. Thanks in advance!
That´s the button I´m talking about:
I can see this button and it is selected (highlighted blue). Unfortunately this doesn't work.
I have attached images on an example of what I mean. Could it be from converting the texture file to bitmap?
Please upload your svg file for interrogation.
Here you go! Thanks for helping.

Ah ok, brilliant. Thanks for the speedy response! I shall get back at it!
