The goal is to create a Bezier curve with equidistant points on it.
To achieve this, I have drawn the curve and then applied the pattern along path effect to generate the path effect. Unfortunately, now I only have the option to either display all points or display the path. However, I would like to have both the line and the points displayed on it. How can I accomplish this?
Here's my attempt. I drew a circle centred on a rectangle and combined the two shapes [Pathe > Combine] or [ctrl+k]. Copy this shape. Select your curve then [Path > Path Effects...] [Pattern Along Path] [Link to path in clipboard].
Use the Node tool [n] to adjust the linked shape, changing circle diameter or the rectangle length.
Dear Inkscape Forum,

Thank you, Tobias
I'd duplicate the path and apply the pattern to the duplicate.
