Ok, So im pretty nmew to inkscape, and Im trying to generate a circular set of rectangles created with the rectangle tool using the path effects "pattern along path" tool. However, it get following when I click link to path on clipboard...

(see picture attached) Settings are also there.

Any ideas? I need to make a dial of stats (like a prize wheel but with squares with in each part of the pie.
