Finding rough results after applying Object to Path to text with v.0.92.5. Other objects, too, but script text is very rough. This feature worked just fine in v.0.92.3. I have only tried this on Ubuntu v.18.04LTS o/s.
If I create needed text to path in v.0.92.3, save and open in v.0.92.5 it looks good, but a copy/paste of this while still in v.0.92.5 results in the choppy paths. It looks like some nodes need to be smoothed out.
I have compared all Preference settings from the two installations, but cannot find a difference if there is a setting that would apply.
Update to question (kind of): What determines the smoothness of "Object to path"? Now, my v.0.92.3 on Ubuntu is very choppy when taking text and using Object to path. I must have changed something, but can't restore my change. My Windows Inkscape v.0.92.2 is still fine - I better not muck that one up!
I am sorry, but it is only in my preferences as I just found out. I should have ready the FAQ before posting here. My mistake. If I find the offending preference setting, I will post it here, just in case someone else has the same issue.

What am I doing wrong? Thanks. Paul.
