Started working on a project that involves a lot of rotating objects around circles and have come across an issue I have no understanding of. Subject says the issue and I have attached a short video.

I have a notion this is some very basic thing I'm not understanding. Please help!
Thanks, that helped. Turned out the issue was that the circle wasn't actually exactly centered on the guide points. So the rotation centre was slightly off of true centre.

The center of rotation seems to have been moved up. I'd try shift-click on the crosshairs to reset to the circle center.
