I recently started using inkscape 1.3 and I found that all my text gets mangled like in the screenshot attached. That should read "A quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" in 3 different fonts.
I tried inkscape 1.2 but the problem persists. I attach the file too but I suspect it's ok. Has anyone any clue what it can be and what I can do to make it work?
I'm on Ubuntu Linux 20.04 LTS, other programs like Krita, Blender and Libreoffice render the text ok.
Yeah, seems it grabbed the value from the Inkscape.defaults.xml. That's why we recommend an Inkscape Preferences reset plus restart after update or installation of a newer version.

Thank you!
You have an immense stroke width attached to your text, where "none" should be.
Thank you Polygon!
That's it, I set the stroke for another object and completely forgot about it.
I find itย strange though that Inkscape transfersย a Stroke for text from a former used tool at all.
Even stranger, it carried through different versions of inkscape.
