I'm using a 2018 mac mini OS 10.14.6 (Mojave) Inkscape 1.0.2, installed with a .dmg.

I am trying to open a file from an external drive. From within Inkscape, I use the open dialog box, my external drives are not seen from within the program when I try to open or save a file. It does see my internal drive and will save to this location. The software will allow me to drag a file from an external drive directly into the program. just not through the dialog box.

My web search sees others with this issue, but no resolution was found to correct it.

I am using 1.0.2, but I also tried the 1.0.1 version with the same effect.

I think this is an issue that should be reported to https://inkscape.org/report so the macOS developers can take a look at it.
