Beginners' Questions Lines are not clear. Why are there dashed lines next to the solid lines?

    Why are there dashed lines next to the solid lines?  How do I get rid of them?

    These are just Selection indicators. You can disable it at Preferences->Tools->Select Tool->Per-Object selection cue=None
