Hi. I'm a beginner working on a poly portrait with numerous layers. Trying to put a blue rectangle object for a background on the lowest most Layer but for some reason some of the background rectangle shows thru some of the objects in higher layersΒ until zoom level approaches 100%. I've checked the opacities and Blend of the objects in question and different groupings of objects without success. I'm attaching a PNG of the result I'm getting as well as an svg of the problem project. In the files notice the color of the Lion doll. Thanks for your help.
You've got one of your groups set to 'Darken' blend mode, and that's what's causing the oddness, I think.
Open the Objects panel (first entry on the Objects menu).
Expand the 'Doll' layer, via the little arrow pointer.
Expand group g3046.
Now click on g2498 once to select it. Look down near the bottom of the Objects panel where it says Blend mode. It's set to Darken. Change this to normal and I think that should fix it.

Thanks for such a speedy reply! Did your drill and worked great. Learned something about group manipulation too. Thanks so much for your help.
You're welcome! π
