I am super new to inkscape and krita. Sorry my silly question. I like free drawing in krita but need to vectorize in inkscape. There is the problem. I need my drawing cliparts. I will use them on the designs. I tried it several times but couldnt trace bitmap properly. The colours and lines werent shown in good quality. All videos say that set until you like it. But l couldnt manage. Is there any tips for me? Thank you
Going from raster to vector most always has problems. Raster images have pixels. Vector images don't have pixels, they have paths. There can never be a one to one conversion because of this. The art has to be recreated. That said, if your end goal is vector, better to make it vector to begin with and avoid the bottleneck.
Having said all that, the autotrace can has many many settings. Find some youtube videos and explore. Them. Manual tracing is always better than what the autotrace will give.
