Hello all:ย I findย myself asking lots of questions about Inkscape but more focused on using the Inkstitch extension for machine embroidery.ย After searching around I can't seem to find an Inkstitch forum similar to the Inkscape forum that we have here.ย Since most of my question are about using the Inkstitch extension I would prefer to ask my questions to a dedicated forum.
So, can anyone recommend an Inkstitch forum that is "active" with plenty of active users?
Or.... should I keep posting my questions here and hope that I'm not too off topic?
If you can invite the InkStich users/developers I would be happy to create an InkStitch specific format for everyone. Just let me know when you have a critical mass.
Hi Martin:ย Thanks for your response.ย Would that potential Inkstitch forum be created within "this" system as a sub-forum of the Inkscape forum? I like the way this Inkscape forum looks and works.ย ย
How would you be able to find out if there was a critical mass?ย What would be the procedure?
@Huertaaj Critical mass wouldn't be much, it would mean asking the Inkstich developers/community if they'd like to, finding someone here who's be willing to monitor the forum and make sure it doesn't become a problem space.
With those two things, I can make a forum right away. I'll even make a cute icon for it.
Hi Martin:ย I would be very happy to be the Inkstitch monitor.ย However, I have never done that so hopefully you would give me some tips on how to do that.ย I'm retired so I have the time.ย ย
Also, if it is possible, could the forum link be created without having to wait any further?ย If it doesn't get any use then you could easily take it down.ย However, I anticipate that once people get to know that it exists it will get much more traffic.ย I'm sure that Google searches for an Inkstitch group will point them to the user forum here and once that happens it will fill up!

Maybe we can start here and see what happens.ย I'll post a request for responses for potential users of the Inkstitch forum

Excellent!ย I'll keep trying to drum up interest in an Inkstitch group
Thanks!!!
Count me in.
Great Tyler!ย How do we find more Inkstitch members?ย Will they come out of the woodwork if we get it started as in... "build it and they will come"?
Yes, I think your Call for particpants is fine.ย
