Using Extensions->Generate from Path->Interpolate. Can I interpolate into layers rather than a group? I know I can use "Layer->Move Selection to Layer" but it would be much less time-consuming to be able to interpolate directly into layers.
Simply give the 2 base stokes 2 different colors and interpolate "style" as well - now the extension can separate by style and move each to its own layer. (Just tested)
Many thanks! With the addition of "Remove Empty Groups" and the help of "Deep Ungroup" this did the trick. And the first time installing an extension also worked easily.
