After upgrading to the 1.2.2 version I can not draw anything, and Inkscape seems unresponsive. I can not draw even rectangles or circles as well as can not write texts.
Issues persist. I started inkscape in terminal and caught this error message: Bail out! Gtk:ERROR:../../../../gtk/gtkiconhelper.c:494:ensure_surface_for_gicon: assertion failed (error == NULL): Failed to load /snap/inkscape/10536/data-dir/icons/Adwaita/16x16/status/image-missing.png: Unrecognized image file format (gdk-pixbuf-error-quark, 3)
I think the trouble got solved. I have changed the graphics platform from X11 to Wayland, now everything runs smoothly Thank you, Tyler for your kind attention.

Please go Inkscape Preferences->System hit "Reset Preferences" and restart Inkscape. Fingers crossed.

How should I proceed?
Here are below the characteristics of my system:

KDE Frameworks Version: 5.107.0
Qt Version: 5.15.10
Kernel-Version: 6.3.7-200.fc38.x86_64 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11
Processors: 12 × AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor
Memory: 15.5 GiB of RAM

I know there have been issues with both install methods, so you may want to file a report.
