Hi! ย I am working on a project in collaboration with other people, and members of the group have made graphics in Inkscape, PowerPoint and in Photoshop. ย I asked everybody to put their text in 9 pt Arial and provide me with a 300 dpi png image to assemble in the final document. ย The Inkscape text, however, is smaller and bolder than the same font and size in PowerPoint. ย Inkscape says the text is not bold, but it sure looks like it to me. ย Here is a comparison of the two side-by-side (top is PowerPoint, bottom is Inkscape):

Not the first time I came across this issue: check the Fill and Stroke panel and delete the Stroke from the text object.

At least you have Inkscape running on Ventura. ;-) Call you lucky.
