I downloaded the program and loaded a set built in svg for inkscape.
However, as soon as I move around the items stop being visualized correctly and appear mostly blank. Also, when I move any element around, the element disappears and is not visualized correctly. hence it is impossible to work. I tried it on 2 different laptops, both pretty high in performance, one with win 10 pro and the other a gaming laptop with win 7.
any suggestion? i fear I miss something to make the program work
Are you perhaps referring to 'screen tearing' where there are glitches in how objects are displayed? There's a Launchpad bug report that describes this...
I get this from time to time but usually holding the Control key and zooming in and out a bit with the mouse scroll wheel will refresh the screen and fix the problem.
Of course, your issue might be something completely different and any other information you can supply would help.
it is the screen tearing indeeed that you descrive which does indeed get solved by holding ctrl. However, the problem is very serious and holding ctrl for prolonged amounts of time, eventually leads the program to close.
I read the thread you shared, but there is no solution...I guess the program just works poorly, I will try another one
