I am trying to edit some files I have previously made in Corel Draw. I tried both importing the files and opening them with Inkscape. Everything is ok except for the text. All text is on one line and every 2 words are connected. Like "Ilike agood icecreamin thesummer".
I ungrouped everything but I cannot insert spaces or press enter to make the text fit the area I need. Any idea how to solve this? I don't want to rewrite everything since there's a lot of text.

I'd try "remove manual kerns".
Sometimes I will copy the text and paste into a html editor, then copy from the html editor and paste back into Inkscape.
