Beginners' Questions Import CMX files from Corel Draw

    Hello,

    I cannot import CMX files from Corel Draw. When I try, I get the message "Failed to load desired file [filename]."

    The files are from Corel Draw 5.

    Is there a way to open these files with Incscape and if so, how should I do it?

    Maybe try sK1 or Uniconvertor.

    Yes, this allows me to open the CMX files as bitmaps.

    Is it possible to convert CMX files as raster graphics in SVG format?

    I'm sorry, but I was wrong about bitmap. Files imported with SK2 are vector graphics and can be saved as such and imported or opened with Inkscape. But I can't edit them in detail.

    Try exporting as SVG from sK1 2.0.
