Hi... Im a beginner. On this "Love and Loss" tv show logo, I love how the "O" of Love and the "O" of loss are bended and seamlessly joined together.... How do I create this effect in Inkscape. Thanks in advance
Here is one way. Though the graphic below shows only working with "letters", since theyΒ are actually paths, any path(s) will do. The idea can applied with rectangles, ellipses, stars, lines, curves, etc.
Create two text objects. Format the font. Add a stroke to match the background colour. Use the text tool to adjust the kerning (letter positions). Arrange the words so that the letters overlap. One of the words will be stacked above the other but we want to interlock the letters. Create clones of the two words and reverse the stacking order of the clones. Clip the area where the stacking order is reversed. Overlay this clip on the original text objects.
